When Tara was in kindergarten, she heard the phrase "step on a crack break your mother's back". At first she thought the phrase was just so stupid. Then she began to make sure she didn't step on a crack. Soon Tara worried about everything. She soon had new quirks such as kissing her hand 31 times before touching a doorknob and praying for everyone who swore. It drove Tara's family crazy but, Tara couldn't help it. After seeing many psychiatrists, Tara finds out she has obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it changes her life forever.
I thought the book was great. It gives you a better understanding of obsessive-compulsive disorder. It makes you feel sorry for everyone who suffers from it. Read this book today! -Natalie G.
